These are shots from the border gate between Macau and Zhuhai the border city on China’s mainland.  You can see the old gate in one image and the modern gate park area that ushers vistors into Macau.  The 2008 sign is made from the same kind of material used for the olympic mascots that used to appear around town.  Apparently it takes on new shapes throughout the year.
